Global Network
Inspiring African diaspora to invest time, talent, influence and resources in their home communities.
Rationale:
One of the most debated topics in international work is the topic of “brain drain.” Brain drain in African context refers to skilled labor that leaves African countries in search of better jobs and other opportunities. The debate is endless on the effects of this migration and our desire is not to bring in one more opinion. However, we believe that people regardless of where they live can make an impact back in their home communities by sacrificially investing in the lives of the less fortunate. After all, we have observed that this has a unique power of drawing people back into those communities for a future return.
Our vision:
We have created a volunteer “AMBASSADOR” position for Africans living oversees that desire to make a difference together with us. Our Ambassadors are spokesmen and women that carry on the stories and dreams of the people we work with and invite other people into our process.
