Mtengo Wa Nthenga
Mtengo Wa Nthenga is located close to one of Malawi’s popular hospitals with the same name. It is a village that was traditionally inhabited by the Chewa people, known for their leadership. For the record, Dr. Kamuzu Banda, Malawi’s first president was Chewa. One of our volunteer leaders, Blessings Chikakula, comes from this village.
Location: 30 minutes north of the capital, Lilongwe’s city center.
